It's summer again and a great lineup of bands is coming back to The Glen Town Center every Tuesday night beginning June 7th. We have a whole season of summer events planned for you, so be sure not to miss a single Tuesday date!

Mike Sigman brings the music of Elton John & Billy Joel to life in the show that pays them the ultimate tribute. With a hand-picked line-up of some of the most versatile musicians in the Tri-State area and his uncanny ability to mimic the voices of these two mega superstars, Mike has created one of the most solid and authentic tribute bands in the country.

Tuesday, June 14, 2011 - Local Favorite Band - Classic rock to modern country to blues, reggae and soul mixed with a smattering of current top 40 hits.

Summer Concert Series - Piano Man

With a seamless crossover of classic rock to modern country to blues, reggae and soul mixed with a smattering of current top-40 hits there’s something for everyone.  You’ll know every song and be on the dance floor from the first song to the last.

Local Favorite is a vocal band first and foremost, with five vocalists trading male and female leads and singing harmonies.  And its members are multi-instrumentalists . . . in addition to the usual guitar, bass and drums you’ll hear banjo, mandolin, upright bass, an assortment of keyboards and harmonica, playing songs from the artists you know and love.

Tuesday, June 21, 2011 - Denny Diamond

Summer Concert Series - Piano Man

Denny appeared on Dick Clark's, "Your Big Break" that showcased the talents of people who naturally sound like different singers.  Denny was chosen to sing Neil Diamond's "America" because of his uncanny similarity to Neil Diamond's unique baritone voice.  The episode was the most viewed and was also the most re-run episode of the series.

Denny can also be seen performing with his two son's Lucas and Spenser.  Together they are known as "Denny Diamond and The Family Jewels".  They have delighted audiences across the nation performing their fun and energetic tribute to one of America's favorite singer/songwriters, Neil Diamond.  Mix in songs made famous by artists like Johnny Cash, Roger Miller and various other entertainers to round out an evening of great music.

MEET PETTY CASH: Who doesn't like the music of Tom Petty and Johnny Cash, especially while hanging out with friends at an awesome summer festival?  Songs you know? CHECK.   Singing along allowed? CHECK. Dancing in the aisles to your favorite songs? REQUIRED!

PettyCash is a high octane stage show appropriate for old rockers, baby rockers and everything in between. Comprised of veteran, professional musicians, you're sure to be dancing your socks off!  In addition, the band's following continues to grow as it's tour schedule builds around the Chicagoland area.

Summer Concert Series - Piano Man

One Foot in the Groove is an eight piece rock band with a horn section. We’ve been performing at Chicago Bulls games since February 2000! Celebrating America’s classic rock heritage, this ensemble features a brass section to cover the songs of classic horn bands like Blood, Sweat and Tears, Chicago, The Ides of March, Tower of Power, Earth, Wind and Fire, The Blues Brothers and many more.

Tuesday, July 19, 2011 - Diving for Dynamite-The ultimate party band.

Diving for Dynamite has been called the ultimate party band. From the first to last chord of every song, the energy Diving for Dynamite brings to its performances is explosive!

D4D incorporates songs from artists such as Cheap Trick, Blink 182, Lenny Kravitz , Green Day, and many more covering music that spans from the 60s to right now! The idea is simple; look great, sound great and provide an experience leaving audiences wanting more!

Diving for Dynamite is a band of veteran Chicago musicians. Ted Ansani, vocalist and guitar player, was a founding member of the beloved 90s Chicago band “Material Issue” and Brian Sheridan of “Ralph’s World” fame plays the bass and also shares the lead vocals. The band is rounded out by drummer Paul Castelli and his brother Chris on lead guitar.
